Look: Colin Kaepernick Attended College Football Game Saturday

September 14, 2021 by The Spun

Colin Kaepernick works out for NFL scouts.

It’s been a while since former NFL star quarterback Colin Kaepernick was in the spotlight. He made an appearance at a college football game last Saturday, though.

Kaepernick, 33, used to make headlines almost each and every week. But we haven’t heard much about him this year. Perhaps that’s intentional.

Regardless, the former dual-threat star took a trip down memory lane on Saturday. Kaepernick was in attendance to watch Nevada football take on Idaho State. The Wolf Pack put on a show, blowing out the Bengals 49-10. Quarterback Carson Strong had 381 yards passing and four touchdowns.

Kaepernick must have loved what he saw from Nevada on Saturday. Take a look.

Colin Kaepernick made a name for himself at Nevada. The dual-threat quarterback had 10,098 yards passing, 4,112 yards rushing and 141 total touchdowns in four years with the Wolf Pack.

Kaepernick took the college football world by storm his freshman year at Nevada back in 2007 when the Wolf Pack took on Boise State. He had 243 yards passing, 177 yards rushing and five touchdowns in a wild four-overtime game which ended in a 69-67 Broncos win.

Years later, Kaepernick once again shined in the Wolf Pack’s massive upset of No. 3 Boise State in 2010. It’s still considered the greatest win in Nevada football history.

It’s pretty awesome Kaepernick is getting reconnected with his former university. Maybe he’ll be attending more Nevada football games in coming weeks.
