Former New England Patriots tight end Martellus Bennett has taken a lot of shots at his former team lately. The latest player to feel his wrath is a wide receiver who’s been struggling mightily these past few weeks.
During his recent appearance on Double Coverage with the McCourty Twins, Bennett admonished Patriots wide receiver N’Keal Harry for his big gaffe against the Dallas Cowboys last week. On the play in question, Harry had trouble lining up, prompting quarterback Mac Jones to yell for his receiver to focus.
Bennett seemed furious at how much Harry has been struggling with the Patriots. He called out Harry for not knowing the playbook after three years and bragged that he learned the playbook in three months.
“(He couldn’t) get lined up,” Bennett said, via NESN.com. “I was like, ‘He don’t know the playbook yet?’ I learned the playbook in, like, three months. Like, what are we doing here?”
Harry has two receptions for 19 yards in three games this season.

It’s no big secret that N’Keal Harry has struggled to impress since going to the Patriots in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
Bill Belichick and Josh McDaniels have seemingly tried everything with the former Arizona State star. They’ve played him outside, inside and even tried giving him reps at tight end.
Nothing seems to work and Harry has just 47 receptions for 433 yards and four touchdowns in his career to show for it.
Is N’Keal Harry deserving of the criticism Martellus Bennett is giving him?
