The first touchdown of the NFL’s 2021 season took place just moments ago.
After trading empty possessions, the Buccaneers began their second offensive drive of the game from their own six-yard line. Tom Brady was surgical. He sliced and diced the Cowboys defense while completing long passes to Antonio Brown, Mike Evans and Rob Gronkowski.
Tampa Bay then found itself in the red-zone and Brady took advantage. Standing in shotgun, No. 12 faked a handoff from left to right, rotated his body into a throwing stance and delivered an on-target ball to one of his favorite targets in Chris Godwin for six.
Check it out.

The Cowboys answered on their following offensive possession.
Dak Prescott went seven of seven for 75 yards and a touchdown on their next offensive possession. Second-year wideout CeeDee Lamb was on the receiving end of Prescott’s touchdown throw.
What an answer by Dak Prescott. 7 of 7 on the drive for all 75 yards, ending with the TD pass to CeeDee Lamb.

We could have an offensive shootout on our hands. The Buccaneers and Cowboys are both capable of lighting up the scoreboard. It helps when you have two air-it-out offensive coordinators in Kellen Moore and Byron Leftwich. Quarterbacks obviously play a major factor as well.
Brady continues to outperform his age. He’s always one step ahead of opposing defenses. Prescott, meanwhile, looked the part on Thursday night. If he stays healthy, the Cowboys could have a big year.
