Knowing he’d be one of the first players selected, Jalen Green showed up to the NBA Draft tonight at Barclays Center in style.
The 19-year-old Green completed his journey from elite high school recruit to G-League Elite to NBA draft pick moments ago, being chosen by the Houston Rockets with the No. 2 overall pick. The lean playmaking guard walked across the stage in outfit no one will ever forget.
Green looked like he stepped out of the 1970s, donning a shiny grey pinstriped suit by Balmain that came complete with bellbottom pants. He closed out the look with fresh white shoes.
Check it out.

Green, who spent last year in the G League instead of attending college, was in consideration to be the No. 1 overall pick before the Detroit Pistons decided on Oklahoma State’s Cade Cunningham.
Houston wound up selecting Green over Gonzaga star Jalen Suggs and USC big man Evan Mobley, among others.
