There aren’t many teams under more pressure than the Philadelphia 76ers this postseason. With Joel Embiid and James Harden on the roster, it’s championship or bust for Doc Rivers’ squad.
During this Wednesday’s episode of NBA Countdown, ESPN analyst Jalen Rose addressed the pressure that Harden and the 76ers are facing.
Rose pointed out that Harden has struggled in Philly, making just 36.1 percent of his shots in April. He believes Harden’s numbers from the field are starting to look like concert tour dates.
“For Philadelphia to have a successful season, they’re going to need to win the East. They were the No. 1 seed in the East last year – just last year,” Rose said. “For James Harden, his stats need to look more like his MVP years in Houston when they were super-sized. Now, they look like concert tour dates. I’m just looking at them – 4-for-15, 4-for-10, 4-for-13, 3-for-12. He’s on tour.”

NBA fans appreciated this comment from Rose.
Harden probably isn’t going to laugh about his field goal numbers looking like concert tour dates. He can, however, silence his critics with a strong postseason.
The 76ers will square off against the Raptors in the first round of the playoffs. Game 1 will tip off at 6 p.m. ET on Saturday.
