Burrow of course is cemented as a legend in the bayou.
Back in 2019, he was the driving force of LSU’s perfect 15-0 season, capping it with a national championship over the Trevor Lawrence-led Clemson Tigers.
One of the greatest college football teams we’ve seen in recent memory, Joe Burrow ran away with Heisman honors after throwing for numbers you’d previously only see in “NCAA Football 14:” 5,761 passing yards, 60 touchdowns and just six interceptions.
Burrow’s arrival sparked some reaction from folks on Twitter.
“Earlier we had a badger sighting now we have a GOAT sighting,” tweeted an LSU football and recruiting writer.

It’s always cool to see players go back to where it all started for them. Quite the recruiting pitch for head coach Brian Kelly.
