Over the weekend, Bucs quarterback Tom Brady received the Laureus Lifetime Achievement Award. An honor given to individuals who’ve made a significant contribution to the world of sports.
And when Rob Gronkowski learned of his friend’s latest achievement, he was sure to give Brady a shoutout.

“Tom deserves to win this Lifetime Achievement Award because he’s been playing for nearly an entire lifetime, so he deserves a lifetime award. It only makes sense,” Gronkowski joked. “On a serious note, Tom is the absolute best at what he does.”
The four-time Super Bowl champ went on to laud Brady’s dedication and legendary work ethic.
“He’s an exceptional player on and off the field,” the free agent tight end continued. “He’s dedicated to the game, constantly working to improve himself and others each and every day, and he’s always working to put the team in the best possible position to succeed each year, year in and year out.”

“I have a great deal of respect for him as a person and as a friend,” Gronkowski concluded. “Congrats, Tommy. You’re a lifetime achiever. Let’s go.”
Gronk has yet to sign with a team since the end of the season. If he does return to football, there’s no reason to think it won’t be with Tom Brady and the Bucs.
