Aaron Rodgers might not have Green Bay Packers fans on his side right now, but at least Shailene Woodley and her family are supporting the reigning MVP.
On Wednesday, Woodley retweeted a rant from ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith. The charismatic TV analyst broke down why Rodgers is frustrated with the Packers’ front office.
“The Green Bay Packers were 13-3 in back-to-back years under Matt LaFleur as the head coach,” Smith said. “They went to back-to-back NFC Championship Games, which means they were part of the final four for two consecutive years. What idiot out there would possibly think this is about football?
“This is not about football. This is about the way that the Green Bay Packers have treated their star player. They have disregarded him. They have dismissed him. They have minimized him. They disrespected him, and he said ‘bump y’all.’”
Shailene isn’t the only member of the Woodley family who agrees with Smith’s message. Earlier today, her mother Lori shared the same video from Smith on Twitter.
Lori posted the video with a clear message attached to it, writing “Spoken truth.”

Rodgers has made it known that money is not a factor in this situation. If it was all about the money, he would’ve agreed to the contract extension that Green Bay offered him earlier this offseason.
The Packers will report to training camp next week, so we’ll have an update on Rodgers’ holdout in the near future.
