Nearly three years ago, Kawhi Leonard ripped the heart out of Joel Embiid and the Philadelphia 76ers when he hit a buzzer-beating three in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals to send the Raptors to the NBA Finals. Embiid finally got his revenge on Wednesday night.
The MVP candidate hit a nasty fadeaway three with 0.7 seconds left on the clock to stun Toronto in Game 3. The shot puts the Sixers ahead 3-0 in the opening round series, basically putting an end to the Raptors’ upset ambitions.
After the game, Embiid didn’t just let his shot do the talking. The Sixers’ big man approached Drake – a known Raptors fan – and had a few choice words for him.
“Get your a** out,” he told the famous rapper. “I’m coming for that sweep too.”

What’s scary about this Sixers team is they have a 3-0 lead against the No. 5 seed Toronto Raptors and they haven’t even gotten the best out of James Harden.
The former Brooklyn Net was pretty quiet in Game 3, scoring a respectable 19 points to go along with 10 assists and six rebounds. Embiid led the way with 33 of his own and 13 rebounds.
If Harden steps it up and Embiid keeps playing at a high level, the Sixers will be an impossible out.
Philadelphia will try and sweep the Raptors on Saturday in Toronto.
