The Brooklyn Nets find themselves in an 0-2 hole at the hands of the Boston Celtics. Is Steve Nash to blame for the disappointing postseason start? At least one NBA legend thinks so.
Charles Oakley told TMZ Sports this week he isn’t so sure Nash is the right guy for the job.
The Nets need a clear-cut leader with players like Kevin Durant and Kyrie Irving trying to run the show. It doesn’t appear Oakley believes Nash is doing a good job.
“The problem with Brooklyn was I don’t know if Nash is the right coach for them,” Oak said at LAX this week, via TMZ Sports. “I don’t know. Being a ballplayer watching them, you know, everybody say, ‘well, this and that, if you got Kyrie and KD’ but you still need somebody at that front seat.”

Ouch. That’s got to hurt if you’re Steve Nash.
Coaching basketball is hard enough. Having to deal with big personalities like Durant and Irving only complicates things. Something tells us Nash is up to the challenge.
The Nets aren’t done just yet, though. If they can get a win at home on Saturday night the series will move to 2-1 with one more game in Brooklyn.
