Photo Of Alabama, Auburn Cheerleaders Going Viral Before Iron Bowl

November 27, 2021 by The Spun

Alabama cheerleaders performing during a football game.

The Iron Bowl might divide countless households around the country, but there at least two cheerleaders who refuse to let the rivalry affect their friendship.

About a half hour before kickoff, a photo of an Alabama cheerleader embracing an Auburn cheerleader went viral on Twitter.

Michael Casagrande of AL.com posted the photo on social media with this caption: “Iron Bowl can’t divide everyone.”

It’s unclear if these two cheerleaders are lifelong friends. Nonetheless, it’s a heartwarming picture.

Alabama enters this year’s Iron Bowl as massive favorites. It certainly doesn’t help that Auburn is without Bo Nix.

Nix is out for the season due to a fractured ankle. Taking his place in the starting lineup is TJ Finley. He finished last weekend’s game with 188 passing yards and a touchdown.

The pressure will be on the Crimson Tide to take care of their rivals this Saturday. If they get upset this weekend, they’ll most likely be knocked out of the College Football Playoff picture.

Football fans can watch the Iron Bowl on CBS. As always, Brad Nessler and Gary Danielson will be on the call for this SEC showdown.
