Dodgers pitcher Trevor Bauer is currently on administrative leave, but there are rumblings that he could show up to the team’s stadium this weekend.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Bauer is exploring whether there is a binding agreement in place regarding his administrative leave.
Originally, Bauer’s administrative leave was set to expire this Sunday. However, it was reported on Wednesday that the MLB and players’ association extended his leave through April 22.
If the recent extension to Bauer’s leave isn’t binding, MLB commissioner Rob Manfred will have to either officially impose a new suspension or let Bauer show up to Dodger Stadium.

The MLB first placed Bauer on paid leave last July due to assault and domestic violence allegations.
Bauer has not pitched since June 29, 2021. In 17 games with the Dodgers, the former Cy Young winner had an 8-5 record with a 2.59 ERA.
Once his leave comes to an end, Bauer could potentially return to the mound for the Dodgers. But first, the team will have to reinstate him.
