Earlier this week, New Orleans Saints fans learned that star corner Marshon Lattimore might not be able to play this weekend.
The former Ohio State standout popped up on the injury report. He’s reportedly been dealing with a knee injury ahead of a huge showdown with the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.
On Friday, the Saints received some good news when Lattimore returned to practice. However, that good news might have been short-lived. Fewer than 24 hours before the game against Green Bay, New Orleans updated Lattimore’s status.
He’s now listed as questionable to play on Sunday. Needless to say, fans are somewhat concerned by the news regarding their star corner.
He better be playing 🤦🏼♂️ https://t.co/DnNoIcGUB2

Other fans pointed out that Packers wide receiver Davante Adams will most likely have a great afternoon if Lattimore isn’t able to play.

Rookie corner Paulson Adebo might be asked to step in for Lattimore if he can’t go on Sunday. New Orleans took the former Stanford standout defensive back with the No. 76 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
While Adebo has reportedly played well so far in the preseason, he’s never faced a wide receiver like Adams. Given the Saints’ depth at corner, they desperately need Lattimore to suit up.
Saints fans will have to sweat the potential of Lattimore not playing until his official status is announced tomorrow.
