Former ESPN host Mike Golic has managed to stay busy following his departure from the Worldwide Leader.
Golic, who left ESPN at the end of 2020, has landed a couple of notable gigs for the football season. He’s calling weekly college football games on the radio and now he’s added an NFL analyst job.
NBC Sports announced this week that Golic will be joining Pro Football Talk every week.
“Welcome to the team, Mike Golic!” NBC Sports tweeted. “Veteran sports commentator and former NFL defensive lineman, Mike Golic, will be joining Pro Football Talk with Mike Florio to analyze weekend results and discuss news from around the league every Monday morning during the 2021 NFL season.”

The sports media world is pumped by the news. Fans have missed hearing Golic on the radio throughout the NFL season.
“Golic will do Well. He knows football and his opinions make sense. I’m going to start listening to this show now. For me, it’s all about the person doing the talking. If I like what you are saying, I’ll listen,” one fan tweeted.
“Congratulations well deserved. Finally somebody worth watching,” another fan added.
“I’m there great to see Senior again. He was wasted by ESPN. I always thought you kept your most beloved people,” one fan added.
Pro Football Talk is very excited, too.
HUGE news . . . @golic joins @PFT_Live for every Monday of the 2021 season. It’s possibly the first time in sports broadcasting history that a morning show was hosted by two guys named Mike. https://t.co/hEIE2ZBaL9
