Golf is good.
The final round of the BMW Championship between Bryson DeChambeau and Patrick Cantlay is as good a sporting event as we’ve seen in recent months.
DeChambeau and Cantlay were locked up at -27 through the final round. The two golfers went to a sudden death overtime period, playing hole after hole until one champion emerged.
Well, the champion hasn’t emerged yet.
DeChambeau and Cantlay have gone shot-for-shot in the sudden death playoff round. The sports world is fascinated by the BMW Championship finish on Sunday.

There’s been a great rivalry aspect on Sunday, too. Cantlay and DeChambeau clearly had some negative feelings for each other throughout the final round.
Golf is better when the players do not like each other.
golf is so so so much better when two guys visibly hate each other

DeChambeau and Cantlay had words for each other earlier in the final round.
Bryson DeChambeau: Patrick, can you stop walking?
Patrick Cantlay: Walks in birdie putt.

We’re on the verge of losing some daylight, so hopefully someone can emerge with a championship win on Sunday.
The final round of the BMW Championship is currently airing on NBC and the Golf Channel.
