Highest ranking this season
Arizona State soccer (7-1-0) is ranked once again. In Tuesday’s latest Untied Soccer Coaches Poll, the Sun Devils came in at 20th. Two weeks ago, earned the 21st spot in the poll before losing to now No. 7 LSU, the team’s lone loss of the season. The Sun Devils got as high as 16th in the polls in the spring during it’s NCAA Tournament berth season.

Despite the Pac-12’s long history of great teams, the Sun Devils are only one of three teams currently ranked. UCLA comes in slotted at 3rd and Stanford at 10. There are a handful of Pac-12 foes that received votes including Oregon State (49), USC (17) and Cal (10).
Unlike most weeks, Arizona State only has one game for each of the next two weeks. The Sun Devils head out to Colorado College (0-5-0) on Sept. 17 for their final non-conference game. Arizona State heads to Seattle to open Pac-12 play against Washington (1-4-1).
