On Saturday, the Chicago Bears traded wide receiver Anthony Miller to the Houston Texans. Now, the Bears have added a wideout to their roster.
According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Chicago has signed Justin Hardy, a former fourth-round pick of the Atlanta Falcons.
Hardy spent 2015-19 with Atlanta, appearing in 73 games with six starts. He caught 95 passes for 946 yards and nine touchdowns for the Falcons.
Hardy also spent time as a kickoff and punt returner.

In 2021, the Bears’ receiving corps will once again be led by Allen Robinson, and second-year pro Darnell Mooney is regarded as a possible breakout performer. Beyond that, there will be plenty of competition.
Hardy now joins a mix that includes veteran slot man Damiere Byrd, fourth-year wideout Javon Wims, third-year receiver Riley Ridley, 2021 sixth-round pick Dazz Newsome and former San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills speedster Marquise Goodwin, among others.
