Following an 9-1 start to the 2021-22 season, the Golden State Warriors are clearly the best team in the NBA right now. Just wait until they add Klay Thompson back into the mix.
Thompson continues to work his way back from a number of injuries he’s sustained these past few years. He’s nearing a return to the court, but some are skeptical about the impact he’ll make after so many serious injuries.
ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reported on Tuesday that Thompson is not only recovering well – he looks like his old self.
If Thompson can be the “Splash Brother” we all remember, the Warriors are going to be impossible to stop.
“The whispers around the league right now about Klay Thompson … they say he looks good. … There is a real confidence in there that, especially by the end of the season, that Klay is going to be BACK back,” Windhorst said on NBA on ESPN on Tuesday.

No one is more excited about Klay Thompson’s return to the court than Steph Curry.
The NBA superstar has been on a tear this season. He’s averaging 27.6 points, 6.6 assists and 6.6 rebounds per game this season. Those numbers should go up after Thompson returns.
The Warriors are trying to orchestrate one last run to the NBA Finals before their championship window closes. Thompson’s impact will play a key factor in such a quest.
The 9-1 Golden State Warriors get back to work on Wednesday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
