Yankees fans have long been recognized as some of the worst in sports. Unfortunately, that reputation manifested himself during Saturday’s game vs. the Guardians.
Yankees fans began jawing at several Guardians players at the end of the game. After New York walked it off for a 5-4 win, Cleveland players began engaging back with a few fans in the outfield stands.
The situation escalated from there. Fans began throwing trash and objects on the field. Guardians players had to leave the field in a hurry, as a result.
Even Yankees players, like Aaron Judge, began telling fans to stop.

“This is disgusting,” said Ben Verlander. “Yankees fans should be embarrassed. Wow. Yankees walk it off then proceed to throw things at Guardians outfielders”
