That’s 20 commitments!
The Arizona Wildcats have really cleaned up on the recruiting trail this weekend, landing three highly-touted defensive lineman in Prince Williams, Keytrin Harris and Manoah Faupusa since the 4th of July. Even with all those additions, the Wildcats weren’t done yet.
After solidifying the defensive front, Brent Brennan and company added a piece to the offensive front. On Sunday afternoon, 3-star Texas offensive lineman Khalil Sanogo announced his commitment to Arizona.

Sanogo, who plays at Mansfield Legacy High School in Texas, can play both guard and tackle, however, he projects better as a tackle. He has long arms that allow him to get a good lock on his opponent and has pretty good upper body strength to keep the block. He plays with a solid base and keeps his feet moving, showing good balance in long-engaged blocks. He will need to work on his pad level and get some more good weight on his 6-foot-5, 270 pound frame. He does have a high ceiling and has plenty of room to solidify his toolbox once he gets to Tucson.
On the recruiting front, Sanogo has 15 reported offers. He chose the Wildcats over California, Houston, North Carolina, UNLV, Kansas State and San Diego State. He took three official visits this year: Arizona on May 30, California on June 6 and UNLV on June 13.
Sanogo is ranked as a 3-star in 247Sports’s internal and Composite rankings. Internally, 247 has him as the No. 92 offensive tackle and the 150th best player in Texas. In the Composite, Sanogo checks in as the No. 1,243 player nationally, the No. 97 offensive tackle and the No. 187 player in Texas.
Sanogo joins Malachi Joyner, Nathan Allen and Michael Langi as the offensive linemen in the 2026 class. He’s also the fifth commit from Texas a year after the Wildcats signed nine Texans.
