The NBA 2K26 Summer League begins on Thursday in Las Vegas, an event featuring all 30 teams. But it’s not the only summer pro competition showcasing the NBA’s top young talent, as a pair of 4-team round robins ended Tuesday in Salt Lake City and San Francisco.
The latter, known as the California Classic, featured four former Arizona Wildcats standouts including a trio on the Miami Heat. Two of those ex-UA stars, Keshad Johnson and Pelle Larsson, earned All-Tournament honors:

Larsson averaged 16.5 points in two games for Miami while Johnson averaged 12 in his two appearances. Both are heading into their second seasons with the Heat.
Former UA big man Oumar Ballo, who finished his college career at Indiana, had five points in 11 minutes in Tuesday’s 93-79 win over the Golden State Warriors.
Also competing in the California Classic was ex-UA forward Carter Bryant, whom the San Antonio Spurs picked 14th overall in the 2025 NBA Draft. Bryant started both games he played in, scoring seven with five rebounds in 21 minutes against the Heat and going for nine points, three rebounds and two blocks against the Los Angeles Lakers in the finale, showing off his defensive prowess along the way.
