The Arizona Wildcats are a few weeks away from their first spring practice under coach Jedd Fisch but their involvement in recruiting and player movement news never stops.
The UA is in the mix for a trio of 2022 prospects, all of whom are ranked among the top 500 players in the country, a strong indication that the work Fisch and his staff have done so far on the recruiting trail is producing results.
* Jonah Coleman, a 3-star all-purpose back from Stockton, Calif., is set to announce his college decision on Monday. He is choosing from Arizona, Colorado State, Oregon State, San Diego State, San Jose State and Tennessee.
The 5-foot-9, 180-pound Coleman is ranked by 247Sports as the No. 465 player in the 2022 class, the second-best all-purpose back and the No. 34 player from California.
* Jordan Allen, a 3-star safety from Lafayette, La., announced a top 15 on Friday that included the Wildcats as well as Arkansas, Baylor, Colorado, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Miami (Fla.), Nebraska, Penn State, South Carolina and Vanderbilt.
The 6-foot, 182-pound Allen is the No. 462 player in 2022, as well as the No. 26 safety and the No. 23 player from Louisiana. He has more than 30 offers.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Miller, who began his high school career at Scottsdale Saguaro but is now at IMG Academy in Florida, is the No. 472 player in 2022, the No. 63 wide receiver and Florida’s No. 63 prospect.
Miller is the third IMG player in the past month to list Arizona as a finalist, as 3-star safety Anthony Rose did so before committing to South Carolina earlier this week and 3-star safety Trevon Howard is considering the Wildcats along with Colorado, Iowa State, Michigan State and South Florida.
Former Wildcat CB Khary Crump commits to Michigan State
Crump never played a snap for Arizona, leaving the program midway through the shortened 2020 season. He didn’t officially enter the NCAA transfer portal until mid-January, and a little more than a month later found his next school when he committed to Michigan State on Saturday.
Appreciate the opportunity I am committed to Michigan state Spartan dog able to come home #Ferndale, Pontiac, to East Lansing Special thanks to @Digdeep810 and @coachk924

Crump, a 3-star prospect in the 2020 recruiting class from Culver City, Calif., committed to the UA prior to the 2019 spring game over offers from Oregon and Utah State. He was the No. 926 player in the 2020 class, as well as the 75th-best cornerback and No. 83 prospect from California.
He is the sixth plater from Arizona’s 2020 team who has ended up at a new school, along with quarterbacks Grant Gunnell (Memphis) and Rhett Rodriguez (Louisiana-Monroe), wide receiver Ma’jon Wright (Middle Tennessee) and offensive linemen Robert Congel (Oklahoma) and Jamari Williams (Middle Tennessee). Wide receiver Drew Dixon, defensive lineman Mykee Irving and cornerback Edric Whitley, who like Crump left Arizona last fall before ever playing, all remain in the transfer portal.
