Arizona’s Pelle Larsson is turning pro and not looking back.
Larsson announced on social media Wednesday that he will enter the NBA Draft. Larsson is forgoing his remaining college eligibility according to multiple reports.
Larsson, a 6-foot-6 guard from Nacka, Sweden, began his college career at Utah before transferring to Arizona ahead of the 2020-21 season.
Larsson is the only player in the country to record 1,200 points, 500 rebounds, 300 assists, 100 steals while shooting 49% from the floor and 39% from the 3-point line over the previous four seasons
As a senior, Larsson was named a 2023-24 All-Pac-12 All Second-Team selection after averaging 12.8 points, 3.7 assists and 4.1 rebounds. Larsson posted career highs in scoring, field goal percentage (51.9%), 3-pointers (46), assists (134) and steals (34) this season.
Larsson is projected to be a mid- to late-second round pick by multiple outlets.
He is the second Arizona player to declare for the NBA Draft after Caleb Love announced he will test the waters while maintaining eligibility. Outgoing forward Keshad Johnson is also a likely NBA draft selection.
