The Arizona Wildcats have started to see their momentum on the recruiting trail pick up in the past couple of weeks. Brent Brennan and Company added 11 new faces to the 2026 recruiting class in June, capping off the month with 4-star quarterback Oscar Rios and high 3-star running back Brandon Smith.
On Friday, the fruits of their labor bore more results.
Prince Williams, a 3-star edge from Las Vegas, announced his commitment to Arizona.

Williams, who plays for Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, is an absolute problem off the edge. He is explosive off the snap and plays with a high motor. His speed allows him to get past his blocker easily and basically live in the offensive backfield. He has good size, 6-foot-3 and 255 pounds, and moves with fluidity. All of these attributes lead to high production. He’ll need to work on using his hands more effectively and not rely too much on his speed and size. College offensive tackles in the Big 12 are a lot bigger and stronger than those in high school.
Williams had 15 reported offers and chose Arizona over schools such as Utah, BYU, Arizona State, California, Florida, Iowa State, Miami, Tennessee, UCLA, Washington and Wisconsin. He took three official visits this summer: Utah on June 10, Arizona on June 13 and BYU on June 20.
In the rankings, 247Sports has him as a high 3-star both internally and in the Composite. Internally, they place him as the No. 64 edge and the 5th-best player in Nevada. Williams comes in as the No. 587 player nationally, the No. 55 edge and the 3rd-best player in Nevada.
As mentioned above, Williams is a very productive player. As a junior, he racked up 74 tackles, 28 TFL, 11 sacks, 61 QB hurries and 2 forced fumbles. In his career, spanning 3 years at the varsity level, he has a total of 174 tackles, 54 TFL, 21 sacks, 87 QB hurries, 6 forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and a PBU.
Williams joins 3-star Utah prospect Harvie Moeai as the defensive linemen in the class, with the possibility of more joining in the near future. All told the Wildcats have 17 known commitments for 2026, with Williams ranking only behind Rios nationally.
