Spring Ball is now over for Brent Brennan and the Arizona Wildcats, culminating in the Spring Game this past Saturday. This gives the staff the opportunity to really turn their attention to the recruiting trail and it’s starting to pay dividends.
On Monday afternoon, UA received a commitment from Utah edge transfer Chase Kennedy.

Kennedy was a part of Utah’s 2022 class, where he was ranked as a 3-star. In the 247 Composite Rankings, he came in as the No. 1,141 player nationally, the No. 68 edge, and the 162nd best player in Texas.
He entered the Transfer Portal on April 19 and reported 8 offers: Arizona, Arizona State, UTEP, Nevada, San Diego State, UTEP, Weber State, and Tennessee State. Coming out of high school, Kennedy had 16 offers from schools such as Utah, Washington State, Oklahoma State, Houston, Nebraska, and Colorado.
Kennedy took an official visit this weekend to see the Spring Game and walked away the newest member of the Wildcat football team. He is Arizona’s sixth spring portal addition, second on the defensive line and second since spring ball ended.
