It took a little longer than expected, but the Arizona Wildcats men’s basketball roster is set for the 2025-26 season.

Arizona released its roster for the upcoming season on Tuesday after officially signing German wing Ivan Kharchenkov, a 6-foot-6 forward who played for FC Bayern Munich. Kharchenkov’s commitment was reported weeks ago, but he had yet to formally sign with the program until after his professional season ended.

The only surprise to Arizona’s roster reveal is that guard Sven Djopmo is back with the team after putting his name in the transfer portal in April. The walk-on French guard made two appearances in 2024-25, playing a total of two minutes.

Every returning player from last year’s team is keeping the same jersey number. Arizona freshman wing Bryce James will wear No. 6, the same number his father LeBron James wears for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Date set for Red-Blue Showcase

Arizona basketball announced that the 2025 Red-Blue Showcase will take place on Oct. 3, a Friday. The preseason scrimmage will occur on the same weekend that Arizona football hosts Oklahoma State.

The Red-Blue Showcase will be the first time Arizona fans get to see the team’s nine newcomers. Among them are five-star freshmen Koa Peat, Brayden Burries and Dwayne Aristode.
