Over the past two years, there hasn’t been a pressing need to track Arizona softball’s roster movement beyond the expected exhaustion of eligibility. There has not been a lot of portal use by Arizona, either outgoing or incoming, during the middle two years of Caitlin Lowe’s tenure.
Last season, there was one transfer out and three transfers in. The year before, there was one transfer out and one transfer in.
Prior to this year, Lowe’s first season saw the most transfers out, but that’s not unusual for a new coach. This year is more difficult because it’s four years into her era, and Dakota Kennedy, one of the best players in recent Wildcat history, is among the outgoing transfers.
With the portal in full swing and at least one extremely disappointing entry, keeping track of the comings and goings is more challenging. Here’s the one-stop shop for 2025. It will be updated as new players are added to the team or—heaven forbid—enter their names into the portal.
