
The Arizona men’s and women’s track and field teams finished in eighth place at the Big 12 Outdoor Championships in Lawrence, Kan.
The Wildcats men scored 48 points, while the women earned 46 points. Both teams finished ahead of ASU in the standings.
Texas Tech won the men’s and women’s championships.
Arizona earned 31 total medals across the event, led by Reinaldo Rodrigues’ first-place finish in the men’s long jump. Rodrigues, a senior, jumped a distance of 7.64m/25-0 to claim the event title. Rodrigues previously earned 2025 Indoor Second Team All-American honors in the long jump.
Another highlight of the event came in the women’s javelin, where Erin Tack set a program record with a distance of 54.37m/178-4 to finish second in the event.
Arizona will now get ready to compete in the NCAA First Round on May 28-31 at College Station, Texas.
