Former Arizona Wildcats guards Gabe York and Terrell Brown Jr. have their eyes on a $1 million prize this summer.
York and Brown Jr. are competing in The Basketball Tournament (TBT), a 64-team, winner-take-all tournament. Their team, Eberlein Drive, will play in the semifinals Thursday at 3 p.m. PST.
The winning team receives $1 million, which is split among the players and the coach / general manager.
Brown assisted York for the game-winning bucket in Eberlein Drive’s quarterfinal victory Monday. TBT uses an Elam Ending where the game clock is turned off and teams shoot for a target score.

York scored a team-high 23 points for Eberlein Drive. The team has been a stalwart in TBT over the last decade, advancing to the championship game in 2018 and reaching the semifinals in 2024.
For Eberlein Drive to get over the hump this year, it’ll have to get past Best Virginia, a team made up primarily of West Virginia alumni. The game will be played at the Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, W.V., and will be streamed on Fox Sports.

The former @ArizonaMBB player is a HUGE reason why Eberlein Drive is in TBT’s Semifinals!

Whether or not York and Brown Jr. win TBT, they’re still collecting paychecks playing basketball. York plays for the Zhejiang Golden Bulls in China, and Brown Jr. plays for Panteras de Aguascalientes in Mexico.
