I’ve had countless blessings upon me and I’m grateful to be where I’m at. I owe everything to my parents for supporting me throughout this whole process, without them I wouldn’t be here. Love y’all… and with that being said I’m fully committed to the University of Colorado pic.twitter.com/aaiZGi0gxP

Simpson reopened his recruitment and received a full release from Arizona after it fired Sean Miller.
A 6-foot-2 guard from West Hills, California, Simpson is the No. 99 player in the 2021 recruiting class, per 247Sports composite rankings. He was Arizona’s first commitment in that class last August, and signed in November along with fellow 4-star guards Shane Nowell and Shane Dezonie.
As of now, only Nowell is still on track to join the Wildcats under new head coach Tommy Lloyd. Dezonie decommitted on Tuesday. Arizona currently has nine scholarship players on its roster for the 2021-22 season, four under the 13 maximum.
