The 2020 NFL regular season is nearing its end. Here’s how all the former Arizona Wildcats performed in the league this past week, in no particular order.
Rob Gronkowski, Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Gronk recorded two receptions for 58 yards and both were for touchdowns in Tampa Bay’s 47-7 blowout of Detroit Saturday. It was his first multiple touchdown performance since Super Bowl LII.
Gronk now has three touchdown catches in his last three games and seven on the year. Saturday’s victory clinched a playoff berth for the Buccaneers, who hadn’t made the postseason in 13 years.
J.J. Taylor, New England Patriots
Taylor ran for 38 yards on six carries in New England’s 38-9 loss to the Buffalo Bills Monday night. The rookie went for a career long 28-yard carry in the first half. Taylor was a lone bright spot for a Patriots offense reeling from the departure of quarterbacks coach Jedd Fisch, who accepted the Arizona head coach job last week.

Will Parks, Denver Broncos
Parks continues to shine for his original team, as the Philadelphia native recorded six tackles in a 19-16 Denver loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. Parks now has 15 tackles in three games since being acquired by the Broncos midseason. That’s four more than he recorded in six games with the Eagles.
Parks has to be in good shape for a contract extension with Denver, which drafted him in 2016.
Demetrius Flannigan-Fowles, San Francisco 49ers
Flannigan-Fowles did not play in San Francisco’s 20-12 victory over Arizona. The Tucson native last played in Week 14.
Nick Folk, New England Patriots
Folk made his 25th consecutive field goal Monday, a 45-yarder that gave New England a brief 3-0 lead in the first quarter. Folk then missed an extra point attempt which would have tied the game at 10-10.
Remarkably, Folk’s field goal percentage (92.8) is now higher than his extra point percentage (89.7) for the year
Brooks Reed, Tennessee Titans
Reed made his Titans debut Sunday night, recording one tackle over 22 snaps. The Tennessee defense struggled to contain Aaron Rodgers and the Packers, who won 40-14.
With his performance, Reed has played in an NFL game in 10 different seasons, making him eligible to join Arizona football’s Ring of Honor.
The Sabino High graduate reached the Super Bowl in 2016-17 with the Atlanta Falcons and has another chance to make the postseason this year if the Titans can hold on to a playoff seed.
Nick Foles, Chicago Bears
Foles attempted one pass for an incompletion in Chicago’s 41-17 victory over Jacksonville Sunday. Foles remains the backup for Mitch Trubisky, who has a chance of leading the Bears to the playoffs if they can beat Green Bay in the final week of the regular season.
Jace Whittaker, Arizona Cardinals
Whittaker remains on the Cardinals’ practice squad.
Dane Cruikshank, Tennessee Titans
Cruikshank is out for the remainder of the year due to a groin injury suffered during Week 10.
