New Arizona women’s coach Becky Burke announced Jenna Knudson as the fourth assistant coach and fifth staff member for the 2025-26 season on Tuesday.
Knudson comes to Arizona after two years at Division II Drury University of the Great Lakes Valley Conference. The team went 47-14 during her time in Springfield, MO, including a 22-7 record this season. The Lady Panthers advanced to the semifinals of the GLVC tournament and placed four players on the All-GLVC team. Senior guard Caitlynn Daniels earned WBCA DII All-American honorable mention honors and was named to the All-Midwest Region team this season.
In Knudson’s first year at Drury, the team advanced to their eighth straight GLVC championship game and made their 21st straight appearance in the NCAA DII Tournament. That year, sophomore forward Reese Schaaf was named GLVC Player of the Year and DII Midwest Region Player of the Year.
Prior to her time at Drury, Knudson spent time at fellow GLVC school Quincy University in Quincy, Ill. She was a graduate assistant before serving two years as an assistant coach for the Hawks.
Knudson played for Burke at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Ariz. during her freshman and sophomore seasons. She was selected to All-California Pacific Conference team three times over her career. She helped the team to an 81-29 record over its first four seasons of existence.
Knudson joins Ashley Odom, Julie Hairgrove, and James Ewing as Burke’s assistant coaches. Odom’s title is associate head coach. Michelle Marciniak is the program’s general manager.
Last season, Arizona had three assistant coaches and a special assistant to the head coach.
