Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is returning to where his NBA career started. Sort of.

Hollis-Jefferson should be able to help a Blazers team that is dynamic offensively but ranks 29th (of 30) in the league in defensive rating.
The 26-year-old has averaged 9.3 points, 5.6 rebounds and 0.9 steals per game since entering the league in 2015-16. He spent his first four seasons with the Nets before signing a one-year deal with the Toronto Raptors last season.
He then spent training camp with the Timberwolves this fall before being released.
Rondae spent two seasons with the Arizona Wildcats, where he averaged 10.2 points and 6.3 rebounds per game while making both the Pac-12 all-conference and all-defensive team.
