
Before the NCAA Baseball Tournament began, we asked our readers how well they thought Arizona would do. Considering the Wildcats had gone 0-2 in the previous two tourneys, it would be understandable if the expectations were low.
But 35 percent of those who participated in that SB Nation Reacts survey predicted what has happened: that the UA is in the College World Series for the 19th time in school history and first time since 2021.
But how long will the Wildcats (44-19) be in Omaha this time? Four years ago it was “two and barbecue,” while in 2016 they played until the final game and in 2012 won it all.
We again asked our readers how they thought the UA would fare in the CWS, and a decent amount are expecting the program’s 5th national title:

Arizona has as good a chance as any of the eight schools in Omaha to win it all, but it is far from the favorite. Per FanDuelSportsbook the Wildcats are +1600 to claim the title, second-lowest odds in the field. SB Nation readers have them slightly higher on the list, though:
