Arizona men’s basketball’s front court for next season is taking shape.
Arizona received a commitment Monday morning from Tennessee transfer Tobe Awaka, a 6-foot-8, 250-pound big man with two years of remaining eligibility.

Awaka is the second big to commit to Arizona in as many weeks, joining Oakland transfer Trey Townsend.
Awaka averaged 5.1 points and 4.6 in the 2023-24 season in 13.1 minutes per game. He shot 59.1 percent from the field.
He scored a season high 18 points at Missouri.
A native of Hyde Park, New York, Awaka is a former New York Gatorade Player of the Year.
