According to Pierre LeBrun of The Athletic, the Buffalo Sabres have claimed Drake Caggiula off waivers, seeing the obvious value in an experienced forward that makes the league minimum. Caggiula is no longer part of the Coyotes organization and will have to remain on the Sabres active roster.
