The Coyotes have made another cut as the start of the season rapidly approaches.
The start of the regular season is fast approaching, and the Arizona Coyotes have made another roster cut, sending forwards Barrett Hayton and Ryan McGregor to the Tucson Roadrunners.

There was speculation as to whether or not Hayton would make the Coyotes roaster for the season opener. However, Hayton was injured in the Coyotes’ second preseason game, forcing him to miss the rest of the preseason.
McGregor also missed the preseason with injuries. He didn’t play in any games, dealing with an upper-body injury.
One of the more significant questions going into the preseason was where Barrett Hayton would be playing. The lower-body injury limited Head Coach André Tourigny’s opportunity to evaluate Hayton, and it makes sense to send him to Tucson for a chance to get up to speed and show what he can do.
The Coyotes assigned McGregor to a three-year contract last March and played 36 games with the Roadrunners last season, where he finished with 4 goals and 14 assists.
