The Arizona Coyotes have re-signed two of their AHL forwards.

The Arizona Coyotes and Bill Armstrong have been busy. And for every major trade, there are plenty of smaller deals. That includes yesterday’s signing of free-agent Liam O’Brien, or today’s signing of Hudson Fasching to a one-year, two-way contract.

The Coyotes acquired Hudson Fasching in June of 2018 from the Buffalo Sabres in exchange for Mike Sislo and Brandon Hickey. Fasching reported to the Tucson Roadrunners, and over 121 games in the AHL he had 35 goals and 33 assists.

Fasching would serve a different role this past season, where he was a major part of the Arizona Coyotes’ taxi squad. He didn’t see a lot of action, five games in the NHL, two in the AHL.

Along with Fasching, the Coyotes also announced the signing of Michael Carcone to a two-year, two-way deal.

Carcone was loaned to the Roadrunners last season, and in 35 games he had 15 goals and 10 assists.

The undrafted forward had been skating for the Tucson Roadrunners despite being signed with the Nashville Predators. Clearly, Carcone impressed in his time with Tucson, earning him a two-year deal.
