PHOENIX — An Arizona Diamondbacks fan made the best Web Gem of the day on Tuesday by catching a foul ball in his popcorn container, sending a flurry of food into the air.

The catch not only gave the man a souvenir, but received probably the loudest ovation the fans have given all day.
With two hands on the container, this fan was committed to catching the ball in his popcorn from the very beginning.
The young fan next to him saw his life flash before his eyes and looked as if he had just seen a magic trick of turning a baseball into bits of popcorn. The youngster’s face says it all.
What was more impressive, the fact the fan caught the ball in the popcorn, or that he maintained possession of the container through flying kernels?
