The Arizona Diamondbacks announced Saturday that veteran infielder Asdrubal Cabrera has been reinstated from the 10-day injured list.
In a corresponding move, they sent Josh Rojas to the 10-day IL with a left dislocated finger.
Cabrera is batting .240 with 28 RBIs and five homeruns and most recently played on July 9th.
In his last seven games before injury, Cabrera was batting .280 with four RBIs over that span.
Josh Rojas suffered a stomach turning injury on July 21 against the Pirates, when his pinky finger bent in many different directions after sliding into second base.
Rojas, in his third big league season, is batting .268 with 10 homeruns and 28 RBIs.
Arizona continues their road series against the Cubs on Saturday.
