The bullpen is done. Literally.

Roster moves
The Arizona Diamondbacks made the following roster moves. The D-backs’ 40-man roster is at 40.
- Reinstated off 15-day injured list: RHP Kendall Graveman (right hip impingement)
- Placed on 15-day injured list: LHP Jalen Beeks (lower back inflammation; retro. to 7/8)
There is a philosophical puzzle called the Ship of Theseus. If you have an object, and over the course of time, replace each component, at what point does it no longer remain the original? If everything has been replaced, can it be called the same object? If not, when did it cease to be the original? We are now in that state with the D-backs bullpen. Jalen Beeks was the last remaining survivor in the bullpen of the eight men who had been down there. But with him become the latest member of the pitching roster to go on the injured list, there are no longer any survivors. The only man left on the roster is Ryne Nelson, and he is now arguably the best member of the rotation. Here’s where we now stand.
