After finding the home-page pic for this Ides of March special, I kinda want to watch Cleopatra now. Well, I did until I discovered it runs four hours and eleven minutes. That’s going to require some pre-planning, and an industrial quantity of snacks. As for today’s game, Burnes will look to continue a very impressive pre-season, which has seen him allow one earned run over 9.1 innings, with a K:BB ratio of 13:2. The last batch of cuts have also brought the bullpen situation into a bit more focus. Could we be looking at a Shelby Miller resurrection? If we’re going to re-unite with anyone, probably better to be him, rather than Scott McGough, I’d say!
