The D-backs close out their season-opening, seven-game road trip Thursday with a 12:10 p.m. MST start against the Rockies, live on Bally Sports Arizona and MLB.TV. Merrill Kelly will get the start for Arizona coming off a so-so 2021 debut, allowing three runs on five hits over four innings vs. San Diego. Kelly’s 2020 season was cut short due to thoracic outlet surgery.
