Reno plated four runs in the bottom of the ninth to walk off the Round Rock Express
Instead of a doubleheader, Reno played a nine inning game on Monday, and the doubleheader will instead be played Tuesday July 27th.

Humberto Mejia went six innings, and allowed two runs on eighth hits and no walks, while striking out eight. It wouldn’t be a AAA West game if Mejia didn’t allow a home run, so as expected, Mejia allowed a solo home run in the top of the third. Ty Tice, who was recently claimed off waivers, relieved Mejia. Tice went just a third of an inning, with fours runs allowed on two hits and two walks. Chester Pimentel inherited the bases load with no one out, and allowed all three runs to score. Pimentel went 2⁄3 of an inning while allowing three runs on three hits and a walk, while striking out a pair. All three of the hits Pimentel allowed were home runs. Ryan Weiss pitched an inning with one run allowed on a hit and a walk, while striking out one. Jordan Weems pitched a scoreless ninth inning, with a hit allowed along with a pair of strikeouts.
The Aces scored early thanks to a Seth Beer home run that led off the bottom of the second. Jamie Ritchie followed up with a walk, and Christian Lopes doubled to put runners on the corner for Michael Cruz, who’d single scoring Ritchie. With the game now tied in the bottom of the sixth, the Aces would plate five runs to put the score at 7-2. Christian Lopes led off with a double, and an out later Camden Duzenack would reach on error, with Lopes advancing to third. Nick Heath then doubled, scoring Lopes and Duzenack. Ben DeLuzio then tripled and scored on a wild pitch. Jake McCarthy kept the inning going with a single, Ildemaro Vargas and Seth Beer walked to load the bases for Jamie Ritchie. Ritchie would ground into a force out with Seth Beer out at second. Fortunately, Jake McCarthy was able to score on the play, giving the Aces a 7 to 2 lead.. Unfortunately, the Aces bullpen would give up seven runs in the seventh inning, and eighth run in the eighth inning, giving the Round Rock Express a 10-7 lead over the Aces. The Aces battled back in the bottom of the ninth to win it. Jamie Ritchie led off with a double, and an out later, Michael De La Cruz would draw a walk. Camden Duzenack singled to load the bases with one out for Nick Heath, who came through with a single, scoring Ritchie and De La Cruz. Round Rock pulled their relief pitcher, who promptly threw a wild pitch, which was followed by a throwing error, allowing Duzenack to score and tie the game. Ben Deluzio reached on a fielder’s choice, and advanced to second with Heath out at third. Jake McCarthy then hit a walk off single
