Where do people think Trevor Bauer will land when the free-agency wheel stops turning?

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across MLB. Each week, we send out questions to the most plugged in Arizona Diamondbacks fans, and fans across the country. Sign up here to join Reacts.

Nope, still nothing much to report. Of the top 60 free agents according to CBS Sports, less than one-quarter (13) have found a new home. The start of spring training is within eyeshot – a month until pitchers and catchers show up – but some of baseball’s biggest names still don’t have contracts. While contracts haven’t been signed, it is clear that the same teams are involved in many of these rumored negotiations.

This week SB Nation Reacts asked MLB fans where they think some of these free agents will end up. According to those results, 37 percent of fans believe 2020 Cy Young winner and former Arizona Diamondback Trevor Bauer will sign with the Los Angeles Angels.

I’d be fine with that, not least because it’d be thumbing his nose at the Dodgers next door. Interesting to see the Mets sitting in second place, their new-found wealth and acquisition of Francisco Lindor apparently putting them into “win now” mode. The Giants are fifth, but I really can’t see that as much of a possibility, given where they are in the contention cycle. Of course, Bauer gonna Bauer, and no destination would really surprise me. Well, except for the Diamondbacks…

Elsewhere in the free agent market, the Mets, Blue Jays and Yankees – along with the Dodgers – are also seen as leading contendors in the running for infielder DJ LeMahieu. 60 percent of fans believe the former all-star and batting champ will return to the Yankees.

Finally, another player on the market, and arguably the top position player still available (you could also make a case for catcher J.T. Realmuto) is former World Series MVP George Springer. The former Astros outfielder has also been linked to the Mets and Blue Jays, along with the Braves and Astros. According to 37 percent of fans, Springer will sign with the Mets – another case of the money situation in New York being considerably improved under their new ownership.

Post your own predictions for the three men in the comments, and feel free to explain your reasoning as well.
