Diamondbacks News:
*TODAY: Dbacks @ Nationals – Merrill Kelly v Patrick Corbin – 4:05 p.m. our time.
It’s been a week since we have really heard anything about Ketel Marte
When Gallen went down I feel we got a bit more info or insight to the severity of his injury, or lack there of. Ahmed’s injury was a bit more secretive at 1st, a sore knee followed by missing almost a week of spring training. Finally Ahmed returned to the line-up just to be scratched for TWO MORE GAMES for personal reasons. Reasons that were not revealed. Personal reasons. Now star player Ketel Marte is on the IL after running hard to 1b after a hot start offensively – until his injury he was the hottest bat on the team. Although we do know Marte is having hammy soreness and that he has had an MRI (something I do not think Ahmed had for his knee) but what that MRI shows nobody knows. Especially Dbacks manager Torey Lovullo who claims to not know what grade strain Marte is battling. Which is total bullshtt. Torey knows, but is not saying. Why does the team not want us to know? Was picking up OF Josh Reddick a sign that Marte would be down for months rather than weeks? Who knows – the Diamondbacks ain’t sayin’.
