Diamondbacks Let Dodgers Off the Ropes in Late Meltdown
The D-backs overcame an 8-3 deficit, storming back on a Lourdes Gurriel Jr. game-tying grand slam in the fifth and a go-ahead walk by Eugenio Suarez in the sixth. Ketel Marte hit two home runs, the Dodgers were shut down from innings 4-8 and Arizona went into the ninth inning ahead 11-8.

A open and frank conversation was had a t a meeting between Red Sox owner John Henry, manager Alex Cora, and disgruntled player Rafael Devers. GM Craig Breslow then had to address the media about it, only a short time after Devers threw his GM under the bus for asking Devers to do right by the team. That would have been an interesting meeting to see from the perspective of the unnoticed fly on the wall.
