Conclusion of the suspended due to rain game on Friday night:
Diamondbacks vs Reds: Rain forces suspended game; catcher hurt but X-rays provide relief
“I felt like it was getting a little out of hand about a batter into the bottom half of that (sixth) inning,” manager Torey Lovullo said of the rain. “It’s a tough situation.”
X-rays negative after Moreno (hand) exits early
“He got X-rays. Everything’s negative, but just taking him out of the game was precautionary,” Lovullo said. “The trainer recommended, after watching him throw the ball, that it would be smart to just make sure he was okay before we asked him to get back on the field.”

Diamondbacks Victory Robbed by MLB, Resulting in 10 Inning Loss
Manager Torey Lovullo was extremely upset. “I was pissed. I spent more time screaming at the home plate umpire. I went out to the third base umpire on a couple of occasions between innings. I just said this is unacceptable and somebody is going to get hurt. You guys gotta be smart. It’s not in my hands, it’s not in anybody’s hands, no matter how much I kick and scream, it doesn’t change.”
