We asked about shortstops. No prizes for guessing Nick Ahmed and Stephen Drew were the two best-known, scoring more than 90% of the 96 participants. Though I would like to hear from the two who failed to get Ahmed. I can only presume their cat went on fire just after they started the quiz or something. Average was 36%, which is about in line with previous efforts. At the other end, Jack Reinheimer, Tim Olson and Donnie Sadler proved trickiest. 32% of you figured out that the MW who started at short for Arizona was Matt Williams. Actually twice. My query was pulling only cases where he played the WHOLE game there, and once he started at SS before going back to 3B. Here’s one of those box-scores.

This week’s challenge
It’s at the hot corner, and as mentioned above, the criteria are now playing an ENTIRE game there, rather than just merely starting. Not that it makes much difference as we are back into the chonker-sized editions, with 64 different players to be named. So, if you basically want to randomly type in D-backs infielders, there’s a good chance you’ll be doing okay here. Indeed, the list above might well be of considerable help towards the end. Fun fact: the two with the initials JB have the same last name, so if you get one of them, the other will magically appear as a bonus. You’re welcome! Really, if you can get more than 30 of these, even with these hints, I think you’re doing okay.
